Philip Michael Mason and Cameron Troy Parker
Engaged to be Married
August 27, 2011
Love is handsome, and love is kind. Love is weird, and sometimes gross. Love is difficult, and love hurts. But love is elusive, and we have found it. Love is patient, and love is enduring. It is so enduring that after ten years of unconditional love, we have decided to tie the knot after the move to Portland.
We have weathered the roughest of love’s storms together, and will continue to do so into eternity. We ask that you join us in celebrating the roller coaster that our love continues to take us on… going onward, upward, outward, and occasionally sideways.
We invite you to use the navigation bar at the top of the page to learn the details of our engagement and wedding.
May these vows and this marriage be blessed.
May it be sweet milk, this marriage,
like wine and halvah.
May this marriage offer fruit and shade
like the date palm.
May this marriage be full of laughter,
our every day a day in paradise.
May this marriage be a sign of compassion,
a seal of happiness here and hereafter.
May this marriage have a fair face and a good name,
an omen as welcome
as the moon in a clear blue sky.
I am out of words to describe
how spirit mingles in this marriage.
